October Newsletter - Topsfield Fair and More

  Hi everyone, And a happy Fall to you! I hope you each had a fun, interesting, and joyful summer! Which most likely went by too quickly. I know mine did. But it was very nice, with some musical happenings, a couple of trips to Vermont, and some good time spent with friends and family.   I've got some fun stuff coming up this fall, starting with two shows at the Topsfield Fair this week. As most of you know, I love the fair and all the comes with it, so playing music there for the folks attending is just icing on the cake. Info is below.   I am also excited that the Uptopia Coffeehouse at the Methuen Memorial Music Hall has invited Grace Morrison , Susan Levine and me back for another concert on November 22. It's been a couple of years since we've played there. Tickets are on sale now , and I hope many of you will join. Susan and Grace are wonderful songwriters, and this is a always a fun show. June Newsletter - Three Upcoming Shows

Well, hi! What's happening, good people? Here in my corner of the world spring has sprung and summer is in the air. I am enjoying all the green around, and all the colorful gardens. (I will admit to not enjoying the air thick with pollen, but I have decided to try to ignore that as much as I can.) The summer always seems ripe with possibility to me, and I'm looking forward to seeing what this one brings. I have a few shows this month, and they run the gamut - one with the Sweet Janes, one with Dave, and one solo. Info is below. I had a great time in April at the High Street Coffee House in NH - lovely folks all around and a very fun place to play. Thanks to all the volunteers who make that coffee house happen! As usual, thank you for your interest in and support of my music! April Newsletter - High Street Coffee House

  Hey everyone! Happy Spring! Somehow I managed to not send out any newsletters for a whole season. My last one to you was in the fall. This is partly because I was hibernating a bit this winter, and didn't really have any performances. I do have one tomorrow night (if you are reading this on Thursday night. If you are reading this email on Friday, the gig is tonight!) It's at High Street Coffee House in New Hampshire - NH folks, come on out if you can! I'd love to see you. October Newsletter - Walnut Street Cafe feature

  Hello all, Hope everyone is doing well! I am looking forward to my first solo set in a long while, tomorrow night at the Walnut Street Cafe Open Mike. I will be the featured performer and play for about 30 minutes. As many of you know, I hosted that open mike for a long time, and it is always good to return and see folks. Information is below, for anyone who might want to come - you can come and listen or you can sign up for a slot. Music, poetry, prose and more are all welcome! Rising Eagle - July Newsletter

Robert Frost Stone House Museum, Shaftsbury, VT Hi all! Thanks to all of you who came out to one of  The Sweet Janes  shows in June. I have such a good time playing with Lori and MB. Talented, kind women, who are so much fun to hang with.   This month Dave and I are back at the Rising Eagle Publick House, which has become one of my favorite places to play. They have great food, and such a nice vibe.   I have been enjoying the slower pace of these first few weeks of summer. Or maybe my pace has been slower just because of all the very, very hot days we've had? Anyway, I've been reading and thinking about songwriting, next steps for shows, etc. If anyone has any ideas about places you'd like me to play, please share! June Newsletter - Sweet Janes Shows

  Hello everyone! It was great to play my first show in a while at the North Reading Community Coffee House! Thanks to those of you who came out. Here is a video of a new-ish song I performed at the show, if you are interested in taking a look.    This month I have two shows with The Sweet Janes (MaryBeth Maes, Lori Wadkins, and me), one tonight and one on the 30th. I love playing with these talented ladies; we always have so much fun. There will be fun covers, some original songs, and harmonies.
